BREAKING NEWS – International Travel to Resume from New South Wales Starting Next Month!

Great news, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed that international borders are starting to open up as per the National Recovery Plan.

As New South Wales has almost reached 80% vaccination levels, international travel will resume from New South Wales in November 2021.

Vaccinated Australian citizens and permanent residents, who are fully vaccinated with a TGA-approved vaccine from NSW will be able to travel overseas and return without a travel ban exemption.

They also will not be required to quarantine in a hotel upon arrival back in Australia. A 7-day at-home quarantine will be imposed for those vaccinated and a 14 day managed quarantine for anyone not vaccinated or vaccinated with a vaccine not approved or recognised by the TGA.

Home quarantine will be trialled in NSW and South Australia to assess sustainability.

The Prime Minister has said international travel will likely open up to other states once they too reach 80% vaccine rates.
Travel caps are also set to be increased and removed for vaccinated Australians.

We are so excited to see light at the end of the tunnel at long last for so many couples and families that have been separated due to the travel restrictions.
